I found this volume to exist very informative, notwithstanding the other is SOOOOOOO fucking sexist information technology's unfucking real..... Pitiful for the swearing only I don't think the author knows what a woman is... BUT he has great survival skills and great techniques that I accept retained and will utilize in my future... I recommend this book to whatever homo that thinks but they can survive the wild and that are too born in 1910... I would have given this v stars but I just tin can't get past the fact that the writer did not mentio I plant this book to be very informative, however the other is SOOOOOOO fucking sexist it's unfucking real..... Lamentable for the swearing but I don't retrieve the writer knows what a woman is... Canterbury is legit, that said this is not plenty to survive if you got dropped in the middle of nowhere with cypher. I'll check out the follow-upward to this 1 'Advanced Bushcraft' next, so on to situational & surround specific, S.E.R.E., etc This is a field guide not a story. I grew up camping ground & angling, but then life happened.. 2021 is getting dorsum to my roots and this book was a good refresher & earned a place in my pack for when shtf.

I've been reading Dave Canterbury'due south Bushcraft 101: A Field Guide to the Art of Wilderness Survival. The book is research for a project I'm working on only it's as well a personal passion of mine to study survival techniques. Good intro into the subject. I like to highlight my how to/educational books and I went through a whole highlighter. I was hoping there would be more about trapping and foraging for edible foods. More like a survival book. For those who never did scouting, this may be very informative.

This is a very good introduction of what yous should expect to larn and know if you choose to be out in the wild. Definitely going to check out his YouTube channel and run across some things demonstrated.I also got a good express joy apropos the wild varmint recipes in the back of the book, fifty-fifty though they are probably serious.
Trapping chapter either needed more pictures or better explanations. Hard to understand some of the trap setups. Remainder of the volume was good in explaining how to do things but a few more pictures would help.

In conclusion, I thought that this volume was amazing and had a lot of information to offer. I think that people who are interested in hunting, fishing, and the bones outdoors would savour reading this book because it is basically what this volume is about. Similar I said earlier this book is a very good place for starters to learn about bushcraft and the valuable information that comes with it. Kindle Unlimited kept suggesting this every bit a read and I figured costless? Why not? In the interest of complete honesty, this is so opposite of my normal interest I still can't believe I read it. As well in the interest of honesty, I skimmed some sections. As someone who has almost no cognition of anything outdoorsy I do think this was a good primer.
